What to Expect with Our School-Age Day Care Program
Celebree School of Carney is committed to providing your child with a secure, fun-filled and educational day care setting in which to get academic support and attention, as well as complete their school work each day. This program follows mandates set forth by the Maryland State Department of Education and offers:
- Classes that have a 14:1 student to teacher ratio.
- A personal locker and workstation that will give your child private space to focus on their work.
- A personal basket of supplies right on your child’s work station, giving them access to their own scissors, pencils, crayons, colored pencils, Post-its, a ruler and a sharpener.
Celebree School of Carney provides many essentials; however, we do ask parents to send in their child’s laptop or tablet, as well as a charger and earphones or ear buds they’re comfortable using. That way, they can get to their school’s online learning platform each day, easily and quietly. We also ask that you send in any specific supplies your child might need to complete their work, such as folders, notebooks or a calculator.
Keeping Children Safe at Our Day Care
With this new option for school-age day care, you can count on the team at Celebree School of Carney to put safety first, as we do with all of our programs. For instance, on a daily basis, we require temperature checks, promote physical distancing and good hand hygiene, and require teachers wear face coverings. Our classrooms are also cleaned and sanitized on a routine basis during the day.
