What to Expect with Our School-Age Day Care Program
As a busy parent, you have many new demands that can be hard to balance. That’s where Celebree School of Mt. Airy’s new day care program comes in. If your child is enrolled in elementary school and learning virtually this year, this is the ideal program for you. It adheres to mandates from the Maryland State Department of Education, all while offering:
- Class sizes that do not exceed 14 students along with one teacher.
- A personal locker for your son or daughter to store their belongings.
- A private work station for your child so they have a dedicated area that’s their own in which to learn.
- A range of personal supplies, including colored pencils, pencils, a sharpener, crayons, Post-its, a ruler, scissors and more, provided in their own basket on their work station.
In terms of technology, we do ask parents to send in their child’s laptop or tablet, as well as a charger and headphones. They can then access their school’s online learning platform in a way that’s most convenient and comfortable for them. We also ask you to send in any other specific materials your child needs, such as notebooks or a calculator.
Keeping Children Safe in Our Mt. Airy Day Care
During these challenging times, you can trust the day care program at Celebree School of Mt. Airy to provide a safe and healthy environment. We require teachers to wear face coverings, perform daily temperature checks, and promote regular hand washing and physical distancing. We also ensure every classroom is routinely cleaned and sanitized, top to bottom, so you can rest easy every time your child steps through our doors.
