Summer Camp in Bel Air: FAQ About What We Offer Local Families | Celebree School

School will be out soon. For many parents, they’re left scrambling at the last minute trying to figure out where to send their children. Don’t be one of them. Instead, consider Celebree School® of Bel Air South-Laurel Bush’s summer camp program, open to families in Bel Air, Abingdon and Edgewood, MD.

Through our camp experience, children big and small will be learning and growing, all in a safe, fun and active environment. Here’s a look at what you can expect when you sign your son or daughter up with us:

What’s offered? At Celebree School of Bel Air South-Laurel Bush, our approach to summer camp is a thematic one with this year’s focusing on Explore Myths & Legends. It consists of 10 weeks of summer camp and 10 different related themes each week covering topics such as Native American folklore, superheroes, Greek mythology, legendary athletes, spies, fairytales and more.

In addition to creative lessons, enriching projects and stimulating activities built around this 2019 theme, your child will also have time to just relax and make memories with new friends. For instance, we schedule weekly outings to the pool, as well as off-site field trips.

What age does my child have to be? Our summer camp is open to children ages six to 12, or younger if they have completed an entire year of kindergarten. For those little ones, two to five, we also offer a similar theme-based experience, just designed for our pre-school friends.

Are there separate activity fees? No. These are included in the cost of camp, so you don’t need to worry about weekly expenses for experiences, like field trips or arts and crafts projects.

When does camp start? Celebree School of Bel Air South-Laurel Bush’s summer camp is designed to coincide with the local school calendar and scheduled to begin in the middle of June, running through the end of August.
