2021 Summer Camp Theme: “Nature Unleashed”
Each year, Celebree School of Glen Burnie chooses a different theme for our summer camps. For the season ahead, it’s “Nature Unleashed.” Children will have the opportunity to explore the world around and beyond them in many ways, from hands-on activities to dynamic lessons and more. They’ll be encouraged to put their curiosity and imagination to use as we cover a different topic each week, including:
- Thunder & Lightening
- Rainforests
- Tsunamis
- Earthquakes
- Stars & Supernovas
- Deserts
- Tornadoes
In addition, children will be spending time outside, doing arts and crafts, playing games and sports, and so much more. They’ll also have a chance to head off-site once each week for a field trip and also go swimming twice weekly. While they’re playing, laughing, and splashing, they’ll also be gaining new skills and growing in confidence, too.
Celebree School of Glen Burnie’s summer camp is designed for children ages 6 to 12 years old. However, we also offer camp activities for smaller children, from two to five. These are similar to our big kid camp, with activities modified to an age-appropriate level. Children will be learning in a hands-on way, exploring the great outdoors, and engaged in fun summer projects.
