We were recently featured on PR Newswire for our National Nutrition Month campaign, Healthy Habits Start Here. Throughout the month of March, we are sharing resources, activities, and expert guidance designed to help families build healthy habits with their children in simple, joyful ways.
If you have ever wondered whether your toddler ate a vegetable today, negotiated over one more bite of broccoli, or celebrated a small win when a new food was finally tried, you are not alone. Feeding young children can be unpredictable, and many parents are looking for practical ways to encourage healthy eating without turning mealtime into a struggle. That is exactly what inspired our Healthy Habits Start Here campaign, running from March 2 through March 31.
Helping Families Build Healthy Habits Early
Early childhood is an important time for developing positive relationships with food, yet national data shows many young children do not eat fruits and vegetables every day. Rather than focusing on perfection, we want to help families feel confident making small, manageable changes that support lifelong wellness.
“At Celebree, we believe healthy habits begin early and are built through joyful, everyday moments,” said Kristen Miller, Director of Education at Celebree School. “National Nutrition Month provides an opportunity to partner with families in creating positive food experiences that strengthen confidence, encourage curiosity, and support lifelong well-being.”
Across our programs serving children from six weeks to 12 years old, we focus on hands-on learning, play-based exploration, and activities that help children develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom, including healthy lifestyle habits.
Activities and Resources for Families
Throughout the campaign, we are offering several ways for families to participate and explore healthy eating together. One of the highlights is our Eat the Rainbow social media challenge, where we encourage families to introduce colorful fruits and vegetables and share their child’s meals using the hashtag #HealthyHabitsStartHere.
We are also hosting a national giveaway, where families can enter for a chance to win a children’s kitchen playset and wooden play food set by following Celebree School on social media and sharing their cooking moments.
In addition, we created a free Everyday Nutrition Toolkit available on our Healthy Habits Start Here campaign page. The toolkit includes helpful resources for families such as a Kids Chef interactive cookbook template, an infant-to-toddler nutrition transition guide, a Nutrition 101 fact sheet, and a seven-day toddler meal plan designed for real family routines and grocery budgets.
Expert Guidance for Parents
On March 25th, as part of the campaign, we will also host a free webinar titled Raising Healthy Eaters on a Real-Life Budget: Smart Nutrition for Today’s Toddlers. Led by a registered dietitian, the session will cover practical topics including navigating picky eating, introducing nutrient-dense foods, and making healthy choices while managing grocery costs.
Our Healthy Habits Start Here campaign reflects our commitment to supporting families as they build healthy routines that last. By combining practical resources, expert insight, and playful activities, we hope to help make healthy habits feel achievable for families everywhere.
