About Your Options For Affordable Child Care
Are you unfamiliar with the new options for cost-effective child care? Here, we’ll review some frequently asked questions:
- How does it work? The government of Virginia has partnered with eligible day cares throughout the state to offer a Child Care Subsidy program. That includes Celebree School of Henrico! We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and excel in a supportive, safe, and engaging environment. This program significantly reduces the cost of day care for working families throughout the area.
- Who’s eligible? Eligible parents must be Virginia residents working, seeking work, attending school, or attending an eligible work training program. Families must meet the income threshold set by the government of Virginia, as well as certain other eligibility requirements. - What other affordable child care options are there? For local families, the Child Care Subsidy isn’t the only cost-reducing option for day care.
