What to Expect with Our School-Age Day Care Program
Celebree School of Forest Hill Rock Spring is trusted by many families across the area for day care programs starting at six weeks old through age 12. We’re excited to announce the expansion of our programs with a new offering specifically designed for elementary-age children. Our new program for school-age virtual learners is meant to help your child continue on their educational journey without interruption. Our program follows guidelines from the Maryland State Department of Education and offers:
- A limit on class sizes with no more than 14 children and one teacher per room.
- A dedicated locker so your child has a private space to keep their belongings.
- A work station assigned to your child, giving them their own quiet area to concentrate and complete school work.
- A basket of personal supplies stored on their work station, putting essentials, such as pencils, a sharpener, crayons, a ruler, scissors and more, at their fingertips.
We simply ask that you send in your child’s laptop or tablet, along with earphones and a charger, so they can easily access their online school platform. We also ask that you provide any specific supplies or items, like notebooks or a calculator, your son or daughter might need during their school day.
Keeping Children Safe in Our Forest Hill Rock Spring Day Care
Celebree School of Forest Hill Rock Spring’s day care program provides an educational setting that always puts safety first. Our daily routine includes temperature checks, routine hand washing, physical distancing and requires teachers to wear masks. It also includes regular cleaning and sanitizing of our classrooms and high touch surfaces throughout the day.
