What is Red Nose Day USA?
According to the Red Nose Day website, Red Nose Day is a special day to have fun, come together and make a difference for kids who need our help the most – here in the US and around the world. Red Nose Day globally has raised over $1 billion in the past 25 years.
Red Nose Day is a fundraising campaign run by the non-profit organization Comic Relief Inc, a registered 501(c)(3) American public charity. In 2015, Red Nose Day raised over $23 million dollars in its first year in America. Funds raised go to the Red Nose Day Fund and last year benefited children in all 50 states and 15 countries internationally through programs to keep children and young people safe, healthy and educated.
