Let’s launch their lifelong love of learning together. Contact us to visit Celebree School of Cockeysville!
My passion for working with children began at the age of 13 when I started volunteering with youth programs in my community. As I grew older, I continued building experience through a variety of childcare and educational roles, including running summer camp programs for Montgomery County Public Schools, interning in public school classrooms, and spending several years as a nanny.
I have dedicated the last 12 years to growing my career with Celebree School, beginning as a Pre-K teacher and progressing through leadership roles including Assistant Director, School Director, and now District Director. Throughout my journey, I have remained committed to supporting children, families, and educators while fostering high-quality early childhood education programs.
I earned my Associate’s Degree from Frederick Community College in Early Childhood Education and my Bachelor’s Degree from Frostburg State University. Over the years, I have been honored to lead award-winning schools, support the professional growth of countless educators, and help create environments where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
What Inspires My Passion for Early Childhood Education
What inspires me most about early childhood education is the incredible opportunity we have to shape a child’s future during their most formative years. The relationships built between children, families, and educators create a foundation that extends far beyond the classroom. Watching children gain confidence, discover their strengths, and develop a lifelong love of learning is one of the most rewarding aspects of this work.
Why I Chose Celebree School
I chose Celebree because of its unwavering commitment to its mission, vision, and values. From my very first day, I felt connected to the organization’s focus on nurturing not only children but also families and team members. Celebree School’s culture of growth, support, and excellence has allowed me to build a meaningful career while making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
Goals and Focus in My Current Role
As District Director, my focus is on developing strong leaders, building high-performing teams, and ensuring every school provides exceptional experiences for children and families. I am passionate about coaching and mentoring school leaders, creating consistency across our schools, and helping each location reach its fullest potential. Ultimately, my goal is to support environments where children, families, and educators can all succeed.

I’ve worked closely with McGraw Hill supporting school districts with Universal Design for Learning and Blended Learning.
I joined Celebree School as a School Director because I truly believe in the “Whole Child” and using “Conscience Discipline” to help children calm their minds. I appreciated the support of teachers and making sure they are acknowledged and how they can focus on the pathway to excel.
Some facts about me are that I’ve lived in Maryland all my life and have three children and grandchildren. I enjoy time my family and lover to travel. My favorite quote is: “If you give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day. If you teach him how to fish, he’ll eat for a lifetime.” I truly believe if you give children life skills and tools they will thrive.
