Hi, I’m Sydney Neukum, School Director at Celebree School of Fallston. I’m proud to have ‘Grown Big’ with Celebree over the years, starting my career through Celebree’s sister non-profit organization, Caliday (formerly Hot Spots). I transitioned over to the Celebree side as a teacher’s aide, working part-time while attending college full-time. After I received my teacher certification and Associate’s Degree in Social Work, I transitioned to a full-time teacher in the toddler classroom and took on the role as culture mentor for my school. Once I established myself in my classroom, I became the School Support Manager, then Assistant Director, and have worked my way up to my current role as director. I chose to work with children because because of the very real opportunity make an impact on young lives and influence future generations. I love watching each child grow into their own unique person, knowing I played a role in their development.
I believe its vital to be prepared for any and all situations, so, in addition to being certified in all ages of childcare, I also hold certifications in: First Aid & CPR, Medication Administration, Breast Feeding, Basic Health, Safety & Nutrition, Including all Children and the ADA, and Diabetes Training. Something you may not know about me is that I love plants and gardening.
I love working for Celebree because of the feeling we create here: everyone is a family, our school family. I cherish the relationships with the teachers and families I have had the opportunity to build, and I value the support Celebree offers as well as constant push to continue growing. I am so excited to be a part of the Fallston team. My promise is to provide an exceptional parent and child experience in my school everyday!
