I have been with Celebree Schools since November 2007 and hold an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am qualified to serve as a Director and teach children of all ages. Additionally, I hold certifications in First Aid & CPR, Medication Administration, and Emergency Preparedness.
I chose to work with children because I love witnessing their growth and learning journeys. A little-known fact about me is that I have three children of my own, and all of them attended Celebree School throughout their preschool years.
I am committed to ensuring an exceptional experience for both parents and children at my school every day.
My journey in education began over a decade ago as a Montessori teacher, where I discovered a deep passion for helping children grow through hands-on, individualized learning experiences. While teaching, I pursued my degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Special Education and a minor in History at Mount Saint Mary’s University.
After graduating, I began working for Harford County Public Schools and spent eight impactful years as a middle school special educator at Magnolia Middle School. During that time, I gained invaluable experience in supporting diverse learners, implementing personalized strategies, and helping students achieve meaningful milestones in both academics and personal development.
In January 2025, I joined Celebree School, where I’ve continued my work in early childhood education. What drew me to Celebree was their mission: a strong focus on nurturing the whole child — academically, socially, and emotionally — to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. Their values and commitment to developmental education perfectly align with my own philosophy.
From an early age, I understood that every child learns differently. This understanding has shaped my approach as an educator: one rooted in empathy, creativity, and a commitment to helping children discover their strengths. I’ve always aspired to be a guiding light in a child’s educational journey—and Celebree School has given me the perfect environment to continue that mission.
