Our Day Care Curriculum in McLean

Our curriculum at Celebree

At Celebree School® of Tysons-Jones Branch, we believe that children learn best when they’re playing and having fun. It’s why singing, games, time outside, and hands-on projects are at the center of our approach. However, don’t let our songs and silly games fool you. We adhere to an engaging day care curriculum, unique to the McLean, VA area.

It’s one that integrates the Seven Domains of Learning, so children grow in all the important ways: physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively. We also use The Creative Curriculum® and interest-based learning, a proven, science-based approach that supports holistic learning.

Through this unique combination, we enable the children in our hands to grow and meet important milestones. Whether they’re infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or in our kindergarten readiness program, we help each one soar.

The Interest Based Approach to Day Care Curriculum

In today’s world, an interest based approach to curriculum is critical for success in school and in life. It’s why we begin to introduce these early in our day care curriculum.

In fact, these principles serve as a guide in our programs with concepts integrated into each lesson. This enables us to connect with children and engage them in a way that’s both meaningful and fun. Meanwhile, they’ll be thinking more independently, gaining critical skills, and growing in self-confidence.

In addition, our curriculum is different from other day cares in the McLean area, thanks to:

  • Digital daily reporting. You’ll know what your child’s day looked like with a digital report that helps you stay informed.
  • “Individual to State” readiness analysis. We use unique learning tools that help us measure success in school.
  • Preparation to the very fullest! Our goal is to support your child, so they reach age-appropriate milestones and are equipped for kindergarten.
  • Kindergarten Readiness Classroom©. We even offer a state-of-the art Kindergarten Readiness Classroom© that offers many advantages from a traditional day care setting.
