I am a dedicated early childhood education leader with more than 15 years of experience inspiring educators, supporting families, and creating high-quality learning environments for young children. I earned my Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and my Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Studies with a concentration in Child and Youth Development, providing a strong foundation for my passion for early childhood leadership.
My career with Celebree Schools began in 2011 as a classroom teacher at the Ellicott City school. Driven by a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, I advanced into a Mentor Teacher role at the Carney school before being promoted to Assistant Director and later Director, leading both the Eldersburg and Hampstead schools.
I am a true example of Celebree’s Grow BIG initiative. My dedication to personal and professional development led to my promotion to Quality Assurance Manager for Celebree Schools in 2024, where I partnered with schools to strengthen quality, compliance, and operational excellence. Most recently, I was promoted to District Director for the Green District, where I continue to support school leaders and teams in achieving excellence.
I’m Grace and I serve as the Director of Celebree School of Pasadena, where I am passionate about creating a nurturing, high-quality environment where children, families, and educators can thrive. Born and raised in Maryland, I have built my career around supporting children through strong leadership, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to excellence in early childhood education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Studies with a minor in Public Relations, as well as a certificate in Early Childhood Administration from West Virginia University. I am a Director qualified in Maryland and certified in Infant/Toddler, Preschool, and School-Age programs. Throughout my journey in early childhood education, I’ve had the opportunity to grow professionally while supporting teachers, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance, and fostering positive school communities.
As an educator and communicator, I’m passionate about creating inclusive, supportive, and progressive environments where every individual feels valued and empowered. I believe the experiences children have during their earliest years lay the foundation for lifelong learning, confidence, and success. I chose to join Celebree School because of its commitment to protecting, educating, and nurturing children while investing in the growth and development of its team members. In my role as Director, I focus on building strong partnerships with families, mentoring and developing educators, and ensuring every child receives an exceptional educational experience in a safe and engaging environment.
Outside of work, I enjoy horseback riding, spending time outdoors, and finding meaningful ways to celebrate and recognize my team. I value community engagement and believes that kindness, collaboration, and a positive attitude can make all the difference in creating a school culture where children, families, and staff feel supported every day. I’m honored to work alongside dedicated educators and families to help shape the lives of young children and build a strong foundation for their future success.
I began my career working one-on-one with children with special needs. Wanting to explore a new path, I joined Celebree School as an Aide and worked my way up to Teacher, then School Support Manager, and now I’m the Assistant Director at the Waverly Woods school.
My passion for early childhood education comes from watching children grow and seeing the progress they make in my care. It’s rewarding to know I’m making a positive impact every day.
I was drawn to Celebree School because of its strong focus on growth, both professionally and educationally. The opportunities here have helped me become not only a better teacher but also a stronger leader.
In my current role, my goal is to ensure families feel comfortable and supported, knowing their children are receiving quality care and education. I also aim to help teachers grow and reach their full potential.
A fun fact about me is that I have two cats!
