Affordable Child Care with Celebree School of Middletown
We Accept State and Federal Scholarships
At Celebree School of Middletown, we are proud to partner with the Delaware State and Federal programs to provide high-quality programs to all families. These programs provide financial assistance with child care costs to eligible working families. We encourage all of our families to take a look at what scholarships and subsidies are available to them.

Eligibility
To qualify for POC, families must meet income requirements and demonstrate a need for care due to employment, school, or training. Eligibility is determined by the Delaware Division of Social Services (DSS).

Application
Guardians must apply for POC through Delaware ASSIST, the state’s benefits portal. The application requires income verification, proof of need, and household details.

Choosing
Families can select any licensed childcare provider that participates in the POC program. Be sure to confirm that your chosen preschool, such as Celebree School, accepts POC.

Payment
POC covers a portion of childcare tuition. Families are responsible for a co-payment amount determined by DSS, which is paid directly to the provider.

Renewal
POC eligibility must be reviewed and renewed periodically, typically this happens annually. Families must respond promptly to renewal notices to avoid interruptions.

Guidelines
Familiarize yourself with POC rules, such as attendance requirements, reporting changes in income or schedule, and staying current on co-pays and any uncovered fees.

Communication
Once approved, provide your award letter to us at your enrollment meeting. Our team will help you plan for start dates, tuition balances, and set up any necessary payment arrangements.

Support
If you encounter challenges with your POC case or need help navigating the process, reach out to your DSS caseworker or our management team for support.
Scholarships for Military, First Responders & Government Employees
Child Care Aware of America (CCAoA) is a non-profit organization that connects families to accessible and affordable child care. Although Child Care Aware does not directly provide scholarships to families, it connects them with various child care assistance programs depending on what they qualify for. There are many different opportunities particulary for Military and first responders through this program. Follow the link below to see if you qualify for any available subsidies.
