At Celebree School® of Forest Hill, we want every child in our care to soar. That’s why we’ve created the type of environment where they feel safe and encouraged to explore and grow at their own pace. In fact, through our preschool programs, we’re not just setting the standard for developing academically. We’re also helping children build the confidence they need to take that big leap into kindergarten and the elementary school years successfully.

As your child is learning with us, our preschool programs place an emphasis on balancing both instruction and creativity. Our goal is to enable children to advance in a number of ways, including socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and personally. At the same time, we want to ensure they’re having fun too, which is why we teach them through hands-on activities, arts and crafts, play time, and other engaging experiences.

Through this approach, your child will gain and strengthen a variety of critical skills in areas including communication, literacy and comprehension, and number concepts. With a focus on community and cooperation, they’ll also feel like a part of a family in a place where they love to learn.

Our Forest Hill Preschool Programs Promote Kindergarten Readiness

At Celebree School of Forest Hill, our preschool programs are open to two, three, four and five-year-olds throughout the area. Upon enrollment, our educators will determine where your child is developmentally, so that we can best teach and guide them. To ensure they’re meeting key milestones and on track toward kindergarten readiness through our programs, we use the Work Sampling System and individual portfolios.

Throughout our preschool programs, we focus on building:

  • Fine and gross motor skills
  • Literacy and language skills
  • Social skills and self-confidence
  • Self-help skills
  • Phonetic awareness

The preschool programs at our School in Forest Hill offer the ideal place for your child to learn and grow, so they can confidently walk into their new kindergarten class on that first exciting day of school. As a parent, you can also rest assured that our programming follows the Delaware Child Care Act for Early Care and Education, which is designed to promote health, safety, well-being, and positive development, as well as the Maryland Early Learning Standards.
