Let’s launch their lifelong love of learning together. Contact us to visit Celebree School of East Norriton!
I obtained my degree in Early Child Development from Spelman College and have worked in Early Child Education since 2005. I began my career as a Toddler Teacher for 12 years and while doing so, became the Curriculum Coordinator for 7 years. I then went into management as School Assistant Director and then School Director and have been in management for 6 years.
I have always wanted to be a teacher and love working with children. Seeing the look on those little faces when they discover something new is so rewarding. Knowing that every day will be different and these little ones are depending on us to guide them through their growth journey is just such an amazing feeling.
I chose Celebree School because I felt that the environment was warm and inviting. The staff and management seemed dedicated to not just teaching, but also nurturing young children and that has always been the driving force behind my passion.
My goals and focus as the School Director are to be able to grow the enrollment and the team into a thriving school. I want the families to feel comfortable and the students to feel loved. I want the team to feel supported and to feel like they are continuing to provide the level of care that has come to be the standard for Celebree School.
Some fun facts about me are that I love spending time with my family which includes my husband of 17 years, Seve’, and my 2 sons, Seve’ (21) and Devin (18). I am a sports mom with 2 sons who are avid sports players, but mainly football! I enjoy giving back to my Alma Mater, Spelman College as well as being of service to our “brother” school Morehouse College as a wife and mother. Hand lettering and making skin care products using essential oils are 2 ways I unwind, and they allow me to express myself artistically. I am also really great at folding fitted sheets!
I have over 15 years of experience working with children with special needs, a journey that has shaped my deep commitment to providing individualized, compassionate care. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to support children with a wide range of developmental and behavioral needs, helping them thrive in both structured and flexible environments.
What inspires me most is the impact we can make during these early, foundational years. Watching a child reach a milestone—whether it’s tying their shoes, writing their name, or simply building confidence—is incredibly rewarding. I’m passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where children can thrive, explore, and feel genuinely seen and valued.
I was drawn to Celebree School because of its inclusive philosophy, strong educational standards, and focus on both the child and the educator. The organization’s mission to protect, educate, and nurture aligned perfectly with my own values. From day one, I felt welcomed and empowered to bring my experience and passion to the team.
In my current role as Assistant School Director, my focus is on building strong relationships with families, supporting our teaching teams, and ensuring that every child receives a high-quality, developmentally appropriate education. I’m particularly interested in strengthening curriculum implementation, fostering team growth, and maintaining a joyful, inclusive environment.
A fun fact about me: I’m left-handed! In my spare time, I love getting creative—I design and craft one-of-a-kind costume jewelry using mini toys. It’s a quirky, colorful hobby that brings me a lot of joy and allows me to express my playful side.
