Let’s launch their lifelong love of learning together. Contact us to visit Celebree School of Thorndale!
As the Owner and Operator of Celebree School of Thorndale, I bring more than 25 years of experience in education and nearly two decades with Celebree School. Since joining the organization in 2008 as a 2s Teacher, I have grown through classroom, leadership, operational, and franchise support roles, giving me a well-rounded perspective on what it takes to build a thriving school. Today, I am proud to lead a school where children, families, and educators feel supported, valued, and inspired to grow together.
My passion for early childhood education comes from a deep love for children and the joy of watching them learn, grow, and develop. I believe the experiences children have during their earliest years lay the foundation for lifelong success, which is why I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can thrive. Just as importantly, I am passionate about supporting teachers and school leaders, empowering them to provide exceptional care and education every day.
Throughout my career, I have served as a teacher, Assistant Director, Program Director, Licensing Specialist, and Franchise Business Consultant. Along the way, I became known as a “fixer,” partnering with schools to strengthen operations, develop teams, and elevate performance. Those experiences, combined with my training in Conscious Discipline, continue to shape my leadership approach, emphasizing strong relationships, social-emotional development, consistency, and empathy.
At Celebree School of Thorndale, my focus is on delivering exceptional educational experiences while building meaningful relationships with families, supporting outstanding teachers, and fostering strong community partnerships. Guided by Celebree’s mission of Growing People Big and Small, I am committed to creating a positive, family-centered culture where children, educators, and families can thrive together.
Outside of the school, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether gardening or four-wheeling, and appreciate every opportunity to recharge in nature.
Wayne Viener helps Celebree build the secure, scalable foundation behind its growing community of schools, educators, franchise owners, children, and families.
Ask Wayne who he is, however, and he will give you a simpler answer: “I’m a Maryland Terrapin.”
A graduate of the University of Maryland, Wayne embodies the Maryland Made spirit—curious, competitive, and community-minded. He has consistently demonstrated a passion for bettering his community and supporting the next generation through philanthropic contributions to the University.
Since 2016, Wayne has served Celebree in a consulting capacity through VienerX, the technology company he founded in 1991. First as Celebree’s CIO and later as CISO for its parent company, Huffman Family Brands, he has guided technology strategy and cybersecurity through a period of significant expansion. His goal is straightforward: give school leaders and educators dependable systems so they can stay focused on creating exceptional experiences for children and families.
Beyond Celebree, Wayne is leading the charge into Managed AI nationwide. Through VienerX, he helps businesses put artificial intelligence to work securely, practically, and responsibly. His approach brings together enterprise technology, cybersecurity, financial discipline, and operational leadership to turn emerging capabilities into sustainable business results.
A Certified Public Accountant since 1989 who previously held Series 6 and Series 63 securities registrations, Wayne brings a rare combination of financial and technical insight to every engagement. His career spans Microsoft enterprise systems, NCR retail technology, accounting, franchising, federal services, and multi-site infrastructure. He has also served as a fractional CIO or CFO, helping growth-stage businesses move from complex challenges to clear, workable solutions.
Since 2011, he has been a partner in TerpTalk, contributing to its radio programming on 1300 AM in Baltimore and expanding its reach through TerpTalk.com. His postgame shows take viewers onto the field and courtside at venues across the Big Ten. Wayne is a credentialed NCAA and Big Ten media member.
Wayne and his wife, Connie, enjoy spending time with their three large dogs. His interests include photography, travel, writing, music, and stand-up comedy. He often documents business and sports through his camera and draws inspiration from the rhythm and timing of performance—qualities he brings to speaking, leadership coaching, and his on-air and online presence.
To say Mason Viener has a passion for Celebree is not an exaggeration. He personifies the company slogan of “We Grow People Big and Small”. Mason began working with VienerX and supporting the Celebree organization at age 15, developing an understanding of its schools, systems, operations, and people that few others possess.
His years with Celebree helped build a genuine passion for early childhood education. As a teenager, Mason regularly volunteered with his local preschool during the summer. He has continued supporting children and families through charitable work, including contributions to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maryland.
Today, Mason serves as Chief Information Officer for Huffman Family Brands and Chief Operating Officer of VienerX. He leads the technology strategy, design, and deployment for new Celebree locations while supporting the systems that connect and sustain the broader organization. His experience allows him to understand not only how Celebree’s technology works, but how it must support teachers, directors, franchisees, families, and children.
Mason began working at VienerX while still in high school and continued in a full-time role while attending Jacksonville University. As his responsibilities expanded, he shifted his focus toward Celebree and was named CIO at just 23 years old.
Mason’s professional development has also been shaped by sports and media. At age 11, he began accompanying his father and now business partner, Wayne Viener, to the TerpTalk radio studio. He has been a regular on-air contributor covering University of Maryland athletics since 2013 and gained additional broadcast experience with ESPN+ while attending Jacksonville University. Mason has also served several seasons as a varsity lacrosse coach in Montgomery County MD.
Outside of work, Mason is an avid sports fan and golfer. He enjoys spending time with his family and with the family dogs.
