Can you believe that it’s already time to start planning for summer 2026?!
Summer comes and goes so fast, so planning ahead is a must, especially if you want summer to be more than just a break!
At Celebree School of Plano, our summer camp is designed to give children more than just something to do. We create a summer filled with discovery, creativity, laughter and meaningful learning. Summer here is the perfect opportunity for growth, confidence building, friendship and unforgettable memories.
More Than Just Fun (Even Though There’s Plenty of That)
When most people think of summer camp, they think of games, crafts, and outdoor play, and of course, we absolutely have all of that.
But behind the laughter, games, field trips and themed weeks is something even more important: growth.
Summer camp is one of the most powerful ways children grow outside of the classroom. Without the pressure of traditional school settings and deadlines, kids really open up. They try new things. They build friendships. They discover interests they didn’t even know they had through hands-on activities, creative projects, group challenges, and outdoor adventures, campers build:
- Confidence in themselves
- Stronger social skills
- Teamwork and leadership abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Independence
And the best part? They’re having so much fun they don’t even realize how much they’re growing.
Preschool Camp (Ages 2–5)
Even our youngest campers enjoy a full summer of fun. We focus on sensory rich activities, keeping those essential routines in place and building independence!
School-Age Camp (Ages 6–12)
Our school age campers enjoy exciting weekly themes, group challenges, field trips, in-house activities and so much more. The goal is to keep them engaged, learning and of course having fun! Every week brings something new, so no two days feel the same.
Why Summer Camp Really Matters
As someone who has run large summer camp programs for almost ten years and a mom of a school age kiddo, this is honestly my favorite time of the year. Texas summers can be hot and brutal but there’s always something so special about them. The routine feels lighter. The laughter is louder. We get a chance to explore more, create more, and make real core memories.
Summer is about confidence.
Summer is about friendship.
Summer is about experiences.
If you’re thinking about what this summer could look like for your child, I hope you’ll consider giving them the gift of experience. Of connection. Of growth.
Because summer isn’t just a break from school. It’s a season where confidence blooms, and there’s nothing better than watching that happen.
