Preschool Programs in Mt. Airy: Combining Education and Fun

Our Mt. Airy Preschool Programs Promote Kindergarten Readiness

As your child transitions into our preschool programs at Celebree School of Mt. Airy, a little more structure will be added to their day to help them get ready for the kindergarten routine. In order to meet their learning needs, our educators will also work to determine where your child is developmentally, all to help guide the instruction we give them. Throughout their time with us, we use the Work Sampling System and individual portfolios to monitor progress and ensure they’re on track.  

With our pre-school programs, some areas in which your child will grow include:

When they turn three and from then on, our educators will begin to collect samples of their work to document growth and progress. During this process, we will specifically be looking at the Seven Domains of Learning to evaluate kindergarten readiness in social and personal development, literacy, mathematical thinking, physical development, and other critical areas.
