The Parent-Teacher-Child Experience
What is the most important part of a school?
Is it the building it’s housed in? Are the activities written on the calendar? The number of extracurriculars offered?
Or is our answer the experience?
A school can boast to offer every extra-curricular activity, but if the school administrators can’t remember your name, is that enough? A school can show off the most exciting toys in early childhood learning, but if the staff isn’t willing to use them to teach, does it matter?
Creating a positive school environment requires intentionality and a commitment to every aspect of the school. We’ll be discussing the different ways that we work with our parents, our teachers, and our children to make sure every day is the best it can be.
The Parent Experience

We strive to be part of each family’s village. While we can’t make every day perfect-and we can’t love your child the way you do-we want parents to know that while their child is in our care, they are loved, respected, and valued. We know that parenting doesn’t come with a handbook, but we come with experience. Our administrative team is present from the moment our doors open until they close, allowing us to address questions and concerns as they arise.
Our teachers create that exceptional parent experience through consistency and communication. Intentional lesson plans are prepared and shared daily through our communication app, along with photos of children engaging in activities throughout the day, so that they can see that we are delivering on the experience we have promised.
The Child Experience
At Celebree, we know we can’t fix every boo-boo or undo every playground disagreement, but we can strive to make each day the best it can be. Whether it’s teaching children a new skill or helping them navigate a new social situation, we want to create an experience where children feel safe to explore and grow. Learning is hard work! It needs to be mixed with fun and something that children approach with excitement, not dread.
Creating classrooms that are fun and safe is a way we create a fantastic student experience. Consistent rituals and routines provide a sense of safety, while thoughtful lesson planning keeps learning engaging. Teachers introduce new experiences to the classroom each week, providing students with a variety of opportunities to engage. We expose them to new ideas, and whether it’s working together to create a word cloud or practicing their sitting up in front of a mirror, each child is presented with challenges. We also teach them how to meet those challenges, how to communicate with their peers, and ultimately how to be thriving members of society.
The Teacher Experience
None of this would be possible without our teachers. They are the backbone of the school. Creating an exceptional experience for our teachers is one of our personal passions. We provide in-depth training on Celebree’s standards before they ever step foot in a classroom, and we allow them opportunities to observe our school from day one. We take time to get to know our staff, right down to their favorite things, and use that knowledge to show appreciation in meaningful ways. We also support them. Whether it’s lending a hand during a tricky transition, providing ideas when a lesson plan is missing that spark, or coaching them through a classroom strategy, our admin team values being a part of their support system.

Our school is also passionate about keeping the best. We create pathways which allow support staff to continue to grow in their career, gaining training and experience to one day become teachers or even a member of the administrative team. We provide additional training on numerous topics to allow our teachers to expand their skills.

Authenticity is everything. We believe the best thing we can be for our families is the same school you experienced during your tour. Not every day will be perfect, and not everything will be smooth, because life rarely is. But we promise to meet our parents with transparency, our students with passion, and our teachers with unwavering support.
