Part of the Celebree promise is our commitment to our community. We are more then just another business. We are active members of our community, providing partnerships with local businesses and helping create a village for our families. As part of this model, when Celebree Schools begin their construction, we set up a welcome center. This is a place for us to begin planning operations, introduce ourselves to businesses in the area, and most importantly be available to families who be interested in Celebree.
Families that came to us during our time at the welcome center were able to hear about our school before the walls were even up. Some loved what they heard and signed up to join us right away, but others needed care sooner than we could provide. For those families we encouraged them to stay in touch, reach out if anything changed, and hoped that one day our paths would cross again.
We have now been members of the community for almost 18 months, 8 of them here in our school, and one of the most rewarding parts has been meeting the families that are coming back to us. Families that have followed our journey, liked our silly videos, and cheered for our success. Families that we have reached out to over the intervening months and have kept us in their thoughts for when the time was right.
It is always so rewarding to welcome them into the school that was just pictures on the wall the last time we met. To show off this amazing space that we have built. To see the growth in their children.
This week we welcome a family who toured with us the very first week our welcome center was open. They’ve kept an eye on our emails, talked to us on the phone, but have loved their small home-based care while their daughter was young. However, when they discovered their current care was closing, their first call was to us. They were so excited to tour our school, see our growth, and know they had a safe place to turn to when their circumstances changed.
Obviously, we want every family that walks through our door to join our school, but life is not always so linear. Being able to be a compassionate member of the community and a reliable source of high quality child care, gives us the ability to be their for families whenever they need us. It’s what makes us more than just another preschool. It makes us a part of your village and a wonderful place to be.
