Throughout her career, Sunita has been active in the field of early childhood education. As the Owner, she is excited and proud to bring Celebree School to the Fort Mill community. Sunita loves spending time with children and is always proud to have the opportunity to shape young minds. She believes that quality early childhood education is critical for early brain development and is passionate in instilling a love of learning in children. Making a difference for children, their families, and the community has been a lifelong goal for Sunita. She strives to accomplish this through creating a warm and nurturing atmosphere that teaches to the whole child.
Sunita has a Bachelor’s in Arts and Education. She has also received the Governor’s Appreciation Award in Maryland for her philanthropic and volunteer endeavors. In her free time, she loves to paint, travel and, explore new locations with her family. Sunita lives with her husband and son in Charlotte, which she proudly calls home.
Emily Yorkey is the Assistant Director of Celebree School of Fort Mill. Emily grew up in Goshen, Kentucky, which is a small town right outside of Louisville, Kentucky. She moved to Lexington, Kentucky to attend the University of Kentucky. While at UK, she met her husband, Connor, and achieved her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies. Upon graduating from the University of Kentucky, Emily and Connor moved to Tampa, Florida to pursue their Master’s Degrees. While in Tampa, Emily fell in love with growing children and creating life-long learners! After two years, Emily received her Masters Degree in Education.
Emily has been in education for over five years, teaching lifelong learners in various classrooms ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to Seniors in high school. Emily has gained valuable experience from working in different classrooms and being mentored by all of the wonderful teachers and administrators that she has met. Having observed the effective teaching methods from so many different classes, Emily strongly believes in hiring highly qualified teachers to help create the next generation of lifelong learners.
Emily is excited to be a part of such an exceptional team leading Fort Mill’s next generation.
