Celebree School of Ellicott City, MD: Child Care and Education

Child Care for Infants through School Age

Welcome to Celebree School of Ellicott City! We provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to develop positive social skills and values. In our child care and education programs, children learn about their world through age-appropriate play, projects, and activities that focus on mastering objectives which center around the seven domains of childhood development.

At Celebree School of Ellicott City, our school family is very important to us. We work hard to ensure parent involvement through our programs in child care and education, classroom activities, and building-wide events. Whether it’s Silly Sock Day or Wild Wednesday, every lesson we teach is purposeful. Even our arts and crafts projects are based on learning concepts upon which children can build.

We’ve created a school environment that is warm and welcoming; an extension of your home. As child care educators, we are each passionate about our contribution to your child’s health, safety, and wellness.

Our Child Care in Ellicott City

At Celebree School of Ellicott City, you will find a community of educators and parents who are focused on the well-being and personal and academic development of children. While we have created an early childhood education curriculum that is second to none, we also strive to give children the tools they need to succeed personally and socially.

Our School provides children with the tools they need to develop their self-confidence and reliance. We teach children to not only respect others in the classroom but to respect themselves. Each child is encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas and to welcome the thoughts and ideas of others. We not only discuss the importance of the classroom community but also the larger global community we are all a part of.

When you choose Celebree School of Ellicott City, you can be confident your child will be cared for and guided throughout their formative years. Many of our children begin with us at 6 weeks of age and continue all the way through elementary school. We love seeing our children grow and develop and then embark on their lives.

About Our Child Care Curriculum

At Celebree School of Ellicott City, our approach to early childhood education is a holistic one. Our child care curriculum is purposeful and well thought out. It follows the Maryland Early Learning Standards that define the key aspects of development and learning that include Language and Literacy, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Health, Physical Education, Fine Arts, and Social Foundations.

While the lessons in our child care curriculum are designed to adhere to these specifications, they are also designed to be engaging and fun, so children learn to love learning!

Our team of educators are devoted to children and to early childhood education. That is why the Celebree School also bases our child care curriculum on the Seven Domains of Learning which address the physical, social, emotional, and academic needs of children. This holistic approach also helps to teach children to respect one another while learning to value themselves.
