Jason Skidmore is a lifelong resident of Maryland. He began working in his family’s Assisted Living Home business in his early teens by changing linens, cleaning rooms, and folding resident laundry. As a young adult, Jason recognized the need for a local transportation company that could provide safe, dependable interfacility transportation for patients requiring transfer for long-term care or, in some cases, higher acuity care at another hospital with special services. He started his own company to provide a vital service that was absent in the community.
Jason has spent his entire career thus far as a public servant working to provide service outcomes that are in the best interest of the patient, family and client facility, with particular focus on timeliness, safety, reliability, and high-quality patient care. His love for children and his understanding of the importance of a good educational foundation is the impetus for now branching into early childhood education. He believes every child should have the opportunity to thrive in a safe, nurturing, educational environment.
Mr. Skidmore and his wife founded Hart to Heart Ambulance Service in 1996. The company has since grown from a single ambulance and three employees to over 130 vehicles and 350 team members. They now serve communities throughout Maryland and Delaware, servicing over 150,000 ambulance, wheelchair and paratransit calls annually. In addition, Mr. Skidmore has founded a management company and Statewide Automotive, a full-service automotive repair business focused on general & commercial auto repairs with locations in Harford County and Baltimore City.
Mr. Skidmore enjoys participating in local charitable organizations and supporting other organizations in the community philanthropically. He has served on the Board of Directors for multiple local and national institutions including EMS Redline, Catalyst Insurance, Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation, Senator Bob Hooper House Hospice Regatta, Union Hospital Foundation, and Harford Day School.
With nearly 20 years of experience in early childhood education, including 7 years as a Director and School Leader, I am passionate about creating nurturing, inclusive environments where both children and educators thrive. Leadership is at the heart of everything I do, and I approach each school I serve with respect, understanding, and compassion.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree through Towson University’s TALA (Teachers as Leaders in Autism) program. My professional journey is deeply personal as I am also a proud parent to a neurodivergent child, which has given me a heartfelt commitment to supporting children who benefit from extra patience and care during their early learning years.
Outside of school, I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids (ages 15, 13, and 5), and in my spare time, you can often find me curled up with a good book. I love everything from sci-fi and mystery novels to self-help and personal development reads.
As Director, my goal is to foster a strong, positive culture rooted in high-quality care, fun, and engaging experiences. I look forward to working together with our families to continue growing our school community!
I bring over 20 years of experience in the early childhood education field and proudly serve as the Assistant Director at Celebree School of Columbia–South. My love for working with children began at a very young age, caring for my younger cousins and the children of family friends. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion for nurturing, teaching, and supporting children and families.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Bowie State University, which has helped me blend strong leadership, organization, and communication skills with my work in education. I began my journey with Celebree in 2022 as an Infant Teacher, where I was able to directly nurture and educate our youngest learners. In 2023, I was promoted to Operations Support Manager, a role that helped me discover another passion, serving, motivating, and supporting my team so they could be the best versions of themselves for our students.
In 2024, I transferred to the Columbia–South location and embarked on a new chapter as Assistant Director. In this role, I am honored to provide even greater support to our staff, students, and families while helping to build a positive and collaborative school culture rooted in Celebree’s core values: Protect, Educate, and Nurture. I am committed to protecting the safety and well-being of every child, educating through engaging and meaningful learning experiences, nurturing growth and confidence, and inspiring both children and educators to reach their full potential.
My mission is to lead with integrity, compassion, and purpose while creating a safe, nurturing school community where educators feel supported and inspired, children feel valued and engaged, and families feel confident knowing their children are receiving exceptional care and meaningful educational experiences that lay the foundation for lifelong success.
