Our Infant Program
Our infant program is designed to create a warm and nurturing environment that fosters your child’s development and happiness. When you visit us, we’ll walk you through every detail of our approach to infant child care. Here are some of the program highlights:
- Dedicated Primary Caregiver: Each infant is assigned a primary caregiver who builds a strong, trusting bond with your baby.
- Rocked to Sleep and Held for Feedings: We ensure that every infant receives the comfort and care they need, including rocking them to sleep and holding them during feedings.
- Daily Morning Check-Ins: These conversations allow us to align with parents on feeding, sleeping, and diaper-changing schedules to maintain consistency between home and day care.
- Evening Reports: At the end of each day, you’ll receive a detailed report documenting meals, diaper changes, naps, and playtime activities.
- Age-Specific Classrooms: To better cater to your baby’s developmental needs, our classrooms are divided into two age groups: 6 weeks to 9 months and 9 months to 18 months.
This comprehensive approach keeps open communication between parents and teachers, creating a consistent and secure environment for your child to thrive.
Individual Care Plans for Every Infant
Infants grow and change rapidly, which is why personalized care plans matter. At Celebree School of Columbia-South, we go beyond basic day care by focusing on these developmental areas:
- Personal and Social Development: Encouraging your baby’s early interactions and emotional growth.
- Language Development: Introducing simple sign language as well as simple sounds and words to lay the foundation for communication.
- Physical Development: Activities that support gross and fine motor skills, from tummy time to grasping objects.
- Milestone Recognition: Carefully documenting your baby’s milestones to celebrate their progress.
