Jacque is excited to draw upon her experience in human resources and working with young children to support the families of Tysons as the Assistant Director of Celebree School of Tysons-Jones Branch.

A native of Brazil, Jacque’s love of children started in her teenage years, when she discovered the joy and sense of fulfillment that young children brought to her life. As a young adult, Jacque volunteered to help with children at her church as well as at an orphanage. Her first professional experience, in childcare, was as a camp counselor at a summer camp. Jacque was also employed for several years by a child recreation department at a resort in Brazil. Jacque also worked as a Human Resources Manager in Brazil from 2011 to 2016.

Jacque’s love of children brought her to the United States, in 2016, as an Au Pair. For two years Jacque provided childcare services to a family in McLean, Virginia with two boys, one of whom has autism. All of Jacque’s unique experiences working with children, including those with special needs, led her to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Development from Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) in 2019.

Jacque graduated summa cum laude from NVCC in May 2021 with her Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. Jacque is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education at George Mason University in Early Childhood Education for Diverse Learners, with a concentration in Early Childhood Special Education.
