Our Day Care Curriculum in Spring, TX

A Caring Approach to Learning

Our Role in Your Child’s Development

At Celebree School of The Woodlands Creekside, our day care curriculum in Spring, TX, is designed to nurture the whole child during these important early years. Research shows that 90% of brain development happens before the age of five. We see our role as helping to lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning while also supporting your child’s social and emotional growth.

We’re Dedicated to the Whole Child

Children grow in many ways – academically, socially, physically, and emotionally. That’s why we embrace the Seven Domains of Learning, to support and celebrate every part of your child’s development.

We Prioritize Inclusivity

Our classrooms and play spaces are intentionally designed to honor every child’s unique background, culture, language, and family. This inclusive environment fosters independence, awareness, and self-confidence while encouraging positive relationships that last well beyond the classroom.

We Tailor Our Curriculum

No two children learn in the same way or at the same pace. That’s why our teachers customize lessons to match each child’s individual strengths and needs. With a focus on child-led exploration, our preschool and day care teachers provide support and structure that guide children toward important developmental milestones and a smooth transition into kindergarten.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Routines and rituals provide children with the comfort of predictability. At Celebree School of The Woodlands Creekside, we create daily schedules that balance structure and flexibility, giving children both stability and opportunities for discovery. These routines promote emotional security and confidence, helping every child thrive.

Morning Connection

Each morning begins with Brain Smart Start, a Conscious Discipline routine that helps children unite as a school family, release stress, and focus on the day ahead. Together, we review classroom jobs and the visual schedule, helping children feel prepared and engaged.

Interest Areas

Our classrooms feature engaging interest areas—sometimes called centers or play spaces—where children can explore drama, art, blocks, science/discovery, library, toys and games, music and movement, and sensory play.

By choosing their own interest areas, children learn to follow their curiosity while building independence and creativity.

Mealtime Experience

Mealtime at Celebree is about more than just food. It’s a relaxed, social time that builds conversation skills, promotes healthy habits, and supports many developmental domains. We believe in creating meaningful mealtime routines that children can carry with them for life.

Process Art

We value process over product when it comes to art. Open-ended projects allow children to explore freely, imagine without limits, and discover new ways of expressing themselves. Process art is an opportunity for learning, independence, and joyful creativity.

Rituals + Behaviors = Results

School Family Committee

Our School Family Committee (SFC) gives parents an active voice in our school community. Families collaborate with teachers, directors, and staff to plan events, strengthen connections, and enrich the school experience.

Beyond event planning, the SFC plays a key role in building relationships, creating traditions, and fostering a sense of belonging for every family. Parents gain a chance to share their ideas, contribute their talents, and support initiatives that enrich the learning environment for all children. Through this teamwork, the SFC helps create a school family where everyone feels welcomed, involved, and invested in their child’s growth and success.

Family Teacher Conference

Twice a year, families meet with classroom teachers to review each child’s progress. These conversations provide valuable insight into achievements, growth areas, and ways to continue learning at home.

Teachers share observations, highlight strengths, and offer strategies to reinforce learning at home. Conferences also provide a space for families to ask questions and collaborate with educators, ensuring a strong partnership that keeps children engaged, supported, and confident as they continue to explore, learn, and thrive in our day care and preschool programs.
