Every year, we gather all of our franchise owners of the Celebree School network together to learn, connect, and grow at our Grow Big Conference. Celebree School of Stafford is honored to share that our owner, Moonhee Doan, was the winner of this year’s Rookie of the Year Award. This award honors owners who have kicked off their first year on a strong note and have made a huge impact on their team and school family. Hear from Moonhee about what this award means to them.
Looking back on your first year, what has been the most rewarding part of your journey so far?
The most rewarding part of my journey is making a difference. Seeing how full and happy our classrooms are—and hearing the joyful noise throughout the building from both teachers and children—reminds me every day why this work matters.
What helped you build strong relationships with families right from the start?
Honestly, it comes down to consistency—bringing the same energy and care every day, staying engaged, and keeping communication open. When families see that the school is organized and dependable, trust builds naturally.
What are you most excited about as you continue to grow your school?
I’m most excited about continuing to build a true community—where our school becomes an extension of each family’s village. At the same time, I’m passionate about creating a workplace where our staff can grow, feel supported, and take pride in being part of something meaningful.
