Back in the Saddle Again!
Though the pandemic is still a threat that requires precautions, little by little, you can almost see, touch, and feel that normalcy may be just over the horizon. We owe a debt to our healthcare community for sustaining us and developing effective vaccines that have greatly reduced the spread of infection. What they’ve given us is a gift—the ability to reestablish and nurture our personal connections, which have been out of reach for the past year and a half.
I’m sure that anyone who has spent countless hours staring at the Brady Bunch-style screen of a Zoom meeting will agree that there’s just no substitute for the human connection. The early childhood development industry has shown its ability to adapt, improvise, and overcome challenges and obstacles to traditional in-person learning environments. But better attendance rates, higher test scores, and overall academic growth and achievement are all proof that the close bonds we form between our people, big and small, do matter.
While I, like others, will continue to take the necessary precautions to stay healthy and well, my upcoming travel schedule has me as excited as a child on Christmas Eve.
The appointments in the coming weeks and months will have me at five different Tiger 21 networking events, and a visit to The Franchise Show of Tampa in September. Celebree School will be hosting a happy hour event at the 2021 Multi-Unit Franchising Conference in Las Vegas (join us by RSVPing with Ali Kraus – akraus@celebree.com).
I’m booked for a trio of trade shows, including the Franchise Leadership & Development Conference in Atlanta this October, the International Franchise Expo in New York, and The Franchise Show in Raleigh, NC. Lastly, thanks to our new Tier-One Status with our partners at FranNet, Celebree School will be heading to their fall seminars, as well as hosting an exhibitor booth at the new MFV Exposition in Cincinnati.
As we criss-cross the country, I hope to see many of our Celebree School stakeholders at these and other events. We’ve missed you dearly and our upcoming reunions have been a long time coming.
