Let’s launch their lifelong love of learning together. Contact us to visit Celebree School of Reston!
Josephine & Edward Johnson are the owner-operators of Celebree School of Reston. Josephine grew up in Nairobi Kenya and came to the United States in 2008 to pursue a doctorate degree in Economics at Fordham University in NY. Edward was born in Washington DC, grew up in Hawaii and moved to Virginia to work in the United States Patent Office, as a patent attorney after graduating with a law degree from Northwestern University in Illinois. Josephine, Edward and their three children, Pearl, Andrew and Joshua, live in Ashburn VA.
Josephine & Edward are actively involved in all operations of Celebree School of Reston and are committed to using the skills from their professional background to serve the community of Reston as a place to “protect, educate and nurture”. Josephine is a trained teacher and has taught Economics and Finance to undergraduate and graduate students. She has also worked as an economist and finance and private sector consultant. Edward has over 20 years of experience in intellectual property and is a primary patent examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.
Josephine & Edward are excited to have the opportunity to provide the very best early childhood experiences for children and can attest to the value of top-notch childcare and the positive impact it has on children and families in molding the attitudes and characters of children.
In their free time, Josephine & Edward enjoy traveling, watching sports, visiting with family and spending time with their children.
My name is Rebecca Nolasco, and I am proud to serve as the School Director at Celebree School of Reston, a role I have held since November 2024. I am originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia, and the youngest of eight children, with six brothers and one sister. Growing up in a large family, along with having many nieces and nephews, sparked my love for children and family from a very early age.
I am also a proud mother to a growing boy who continually reminds me of the importance of patience, curiosity, and meeting children where they are at each stage of development.
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, playing board games, listening to music, and being near the water.
I bring both hands-on experience and formal education to my work in early childhood education. I spent nine years as a Lead Infant Teacher, with experience across all age groups, and earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University in the spring of 2025. This background has given me a deep appreciation for child development, strong classroom practices, and the importance of meaningful relationships in early learning environments.
I am passionate about continuing to build strong, trusting relationships with our families and providing thoughtful support to our teachers, so together we can fulfill Celebree’s promise to protect, educate, and nurture every child in our care.
