A Closer Look at Our Infant Program in Owings Mills
Leaving your baby with someone else for the first time is a big step, and we know how emotional that can feel.
As parents, you are not just dropping off bottles, blankets, and diapers each morning. You are trusting someone else with the most important part of your world. At Celebree School of Owings Mills, that trust is something we never take lightly.
From the very beginning, our infant program is built around connection, comfort, patience, and care. We believe every baby deserves to feel safe, loved, supported, and known from the moment they walk through our doors.
We Know Every Baby Is Different
Caring for infants means understanding that no two babies are exactly alike. Some infants love movement, music, and interaction right away, while others need extra cuddles, reassurance, and time to warm up to new environments.
That is why we take the time to truly get to know each child individually. We work closely with families to understand feeding schedules, sleeping routines, comfort items, personality traits, and developmental needs so we can create consistency between home and school.
Because during those early months, the little details matter.
Meaningful Care Happens in the Smallest Moments
Some of the most important parts of infant care happen during everyday routines. Rocking a baby to sleep, reading books together, singing songs during diaper changes, or comforting them during transitions may seem small, but those moments help build trust and emotional security.
Our teachers focus on creating warm, responsive relationships with every child in our care. We want our infants to feel safe enough to explore, learn, grow, and simply be themselves.
Learning Starts Earlier Than Many People Realize
Infants may be our youngest learners, but they are constantly exploring and discovering the world around them. Through tummy time, sensory play, music, movement, language exposure, and interaction, infants in our care begin developing important cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills every single day.
At Celebree School of Owings Mills, we intentionally create experiences that encourage curiosity, development, and connection in age-appropriate ways.
To many people, it may just look like play. To us, it is meaningful learning happening in real time.
Safety Is Always a Priority
Nothing matters more than protecting the children in our care. From secure check-in procedures and classroom sanitization to attentive supervision and safe sleep practices, every detail of our infant program is designed with safety in mind.
Celebree School’s safe sleep practices strictly follow American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines to help reduce the risk of SIDS and suffocation. All infants are placed completely on their backs to sleep in empty cribs with firm mattresses and tightly fitted sheets.
We know parents need more than reassurance. They need peace of mind knowing their baby is in a safe, nurturing, and protected environment every single day.
Supporting Families Every Step of the Way
We also understand how hard it can feel being apart from your baby throughout the day. That is why communication is such an important part of our infant program.
We prioritize keeping families informed about feedings, naps, diaper changes, milestones, and daily moments so parents never feel disconnected from their child’s experience.
We believe strong relationships with families are just as important as the relationships we build with the children themselves.
More Than Child Care
At the end of the day, families are looking for more than supervision. They want a place where their child feels loved, comforted, valued, and genuinely cared for.
That is the environment we strive to create each and every day at Celebree School of Owings Mills.
Because caring for what matters most is at the heart of everything we do.
