I have been in Early Childhood Education for 6 years with Celebree School. I was a mother first and foremost and saw how excited my children were when attending Celebree and decided it was time for a career change. Within my 6 years, I have grown from an Aide to a Lead Teacher, School Director, and now as a District Director for Celebree School or North Dallas and a Franchise Business Consultant. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delaware.
What drew me to early childhood education is the importance of making that impression or imprint early when a child develops 80% of their brain development before the age of 5. Our core values of protecting, educating and nurturing is quite evident from the moment you walk through the door and infectious. The way we Grow People Big and Small is evident through the teacher’s development and how they help to develop our little ones big and prepare them not only academically, but also socially and emotionally for Kindergarten.
Our focus here at North Dallas is to provide high-quality care that’s focused is on whole-child development, build strong relationships and partnerships with families, and create a safe and enriching environment.
My name is Ashlie, and I am proud to be part of the leadership team at Celebree Dallas North Park. I have been with Celebree Schools since October of 2024, and bring over eight years of experience and knowledge. I have an A.A. in Early Childhood Education and am qualified as a Director and Teacher. I currently hold certifications in Childcare Administration, Child Development and Business Leadership. I chose to work with children because I believe that the first few years of a child’s life are crucial to lifelong development. Helping a child build core competencies and grow is rewarding. As an early childhood educator, our job is to partner with families and nurture the whole child. I aspire to help your child in their educational journey. Something you may not know about me is I am a Texas native and have lived in DFW my entire life. I have an amazing son, Jeffrey. We love to read and play board games. I come from a long line of educators. My promise is to ensure all children feel safe at school while providing an exceptional parent and child experience in my school every day!
I have been working with children of all ages for twenty-six years. I am a licensed director in the state of Texas, and I hold a childcare administrator’s certificate as well. I am a prime example of how Celebree School grows people big. I started out as a Teacher, became an Operations Support Manager, and now am the Assistant School Director at Celebree School of North Dallas.
What started out as me just needing a job in 1998 turned into what would be my purpose, loving, nurturing, caring for, and educating young children. The thing that inspires me to continue working in early childhood education is being able to see the children grow at each different stage and being able to simply love on them.
My goal and focus for my current role is to make sure our families have a great experience with Celebree School and that we are doing all we can to ensure that that happens.
A fun fact about me is that I am the biggest kid in the world. This job suites me perfectly because I’m able to be silly, play with the children, and get to hear and watch them play, which is the highlight of my day.
