This award\u00a0highlights\u00a0owners who\u00a0commit their time\u00a0to\u00a0focusing on\u00a0the development of the children in their school family. Hear from\u00a0Kate\u00a0about\u00a0what this award means to\u00a0her.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does excellence in early childhood education look like in your school each day?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are\u00a0very proud\u00a0that\u00a0Celebree\u00a0School of Tysons-Jones Branch was the first ever NECPA-accredited\u00a0Celebree\u00a0School and that\u00a0Celebree\u00a0School of National Landing was accredited just over two years after opening. Upholding the accreditation\/brand standards ensures that we have happy and engaged children that love coming to school every day.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can you share a story of a child\u2019s growth that really reflects your approach to education?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have had\u00a0several\u00a0children start with us who showed signs of speech delay or special needs. We partner with all parents, but with these children specifically, that partnering is critical.\u00a0\u00a0I\u00a0remember particularly\u00a0a child\u00a0who came to us 4 years ago as a toddler. He had\u00a0very little\u00a0speech and was extremely anxious. Many days, I would just hold him in my lap in the classroom to calm him. We developed a great working relationship with\u00a0Mom,\u00a0and he worked with therapists through his time at\u00a0Celebree.
