The Matthews Alive Festival is a Labor Day weekend celebration that continues nearly 50 years of tradition in downtown Matthews, North Carolina.

A portion of the proceeds earned at Matthews Alive go back to non-profit organizations so that they may provide services to enhance the quality of life in our area. To date, Matthews Alive has contributed more than $2.2 million into our local community.
