Our Children’s Learning Center in Russett Focuses on STEAM

At Celebree School^® of Laurel, we harness the power of each child’s natural curiosity in our approach to education. It integrates STEAM and is offered in our children’s learning center, serving families from Russett to Laurel and other nearby areas in MD. With it, we stimulate each child’s intellect, help them develop critical thinking skills, and encourage them to ask questions and explore, so they can grow by leaps and bounds.

What is STEAM – & What Are Its Benefits?

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics. At Celebree School of Laurel, we use these areas to guide our educational process, encouraging children to inquire, solve problems, and communicate their findings, so they can also learn from each other.

With STEAM, hands-on, experiential learning takes center stage, while tying in math with art or science and engineering. This helps children better understand concepts, make connections across different areas, and acquire more knowledge, day by day. Since children are naturally curious, it’s also an effective way to get them engaged in learning at our children’s learning center in Russett.
