We Grow People Big and SmallTM.
Q.What are the startup costs and what do they include?
A. After your Site Selection agreement is completed, your $25,000 fee grants you an exclusive search territory for your school’s site. Once a lease is secured, the initial franchise fee is paid. The rest of the estimated costs include expenses to outfit your Celebree School with the necessary equipment, fixtures, supplies, toys, and furniture. Costs also include professional advisory fees from 3rd parties, insurance, and 3 months of working capital.
Q.How do I find a site?
A. Our Manager of Real Estate works one-on-one with each franchise owner to secure a location. Once the Site Selection Fee is paid and the exclusive search territory has been agreed upon, most sites are found in 90 and 180 days. If a site is not secured, we may elect to extend your time to search, or offer a 25% refund on your initial Site Selection Fee releasing you from your obligation to open the business.
Q.How long does it take to open?
A. The time to open depends on how quickly you find your real estate location. Once you become a Celebree School franchise owner, you have our full support to get you up and running quickly. We will help you evaluate real estate options, design your center, recruit and train your team. Additionally, we provide one-on-one guidance to help open your Celebree School. Once you commit to a location and sign your lease, you may be able open in as few as 3 to 6 months. Our team will guide you through the licensing process to ensure it is efficiently completed and all licensing requirements for opening are met.
Q.What is the basis for the Celebree School curriculum?
A. Celebree has a proprietary curriculum for our infant and school age programs. We utilize the Creative Curriculum for Toddlers through Pre-K. Our classrooms are uniquely designed with interest areas and materials to support the growth and development of young learners. Our team will support you with classroom design, materials, and curriculum tools and training.
Q.Do I have to be an Owner/Operator, or can a franchisee become a multi-unit operator?
A. You can hire a School Director to run your center if you will not be the on-site owner operator. Someone has to be an on-site owner/operator 50% of the time. We believe that many Celebree School owners will own more than one unit. Your dedication to creating the Celebree Excellence in Education and fulfilling our mission and vision at each school is most important – hiring a great team is a must for any franchise owner. We excel in this area and will support you in your team development.
Q.How many team members are needed to operate the center?
A. If you are an Owner/Operator, you may fill the role of School Director if you meet state licensing regulations and requirements. We recommend between 10 and 12 team members including a full-time teacher for each class ages 6 weeks to 5 years, plus aftercare complemented by other staff members including teachers, aides, and childcare assistants. You can hire additional staff as you grow and develop your Celebree School enrollment. Staffing requirements depend on state required ratios and maximum class/group size.
Q.Do we need a license or approval?
A. Yes, each center requires state and/or local licensing. Child care licensing standards set the minimum acceptable health, safety, and program standards for the legal operation of child care programs. Child care licensing regulations are set by individual states. Some counties, cities or municipalities may also have their own set of child care licensing standards.
