Meet the Team

Meet Nidhi, Hemali & Sam Mehta

Your School Co-Owner/Operators

Nidhi, alongside her parents, Sam & Hemali are the Owner-Operators of the Celebree School of Exton. Born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Nidhi attended Towson University for her Bachelor’s in Business Administration and recently re-enrolled in pursuit of earning her Master’s in Early Childhood Education. A new resident of Chester County, she is excited to immerse herself in the community, creating intentional relationships & long lasting memories with the children, families, and staff within and outside of the school family.

Over the years, Nidhi’s passion for Early Education and Child Care created opportunities for her both in voluntary and employed capacities. Her role’s as Youth Group Leader, Student Teacher, Mentor, Counselor, and Nanny included providing instruction and care to children ages 2 through 18. Within the last 2.5 years, Nidhi has managed Daily Operations at her family’s Restaurant. People-focused, she strives to empower her crew and offer them guidance in professional, personal, academic, and extracurricular endeavors.  At Celebree, “We Grow People Big & Small”. In the same way Celebree provided her with an opportunity to Grow, Lead, and Inspire- she too is excited to promote self-discovery and curiosity in an environment that is an extension of home to nurture self-assured and innovative future leaders.

Aside from her professional aspirations, on the weekends, Nidhi will take every moment to head down to the beach, travel with friends, try new food spots, or propose a competitive game night-in with her family!

Hemali & Sam Mehta, Co-Owners & Operators, of the Celebree School of Exton are excited to serve the community by creating an early childhood experience that promises to Protect, Educate and Nurture. Born in India, they immigrated to the United States of America in 1990 and made the Eastern Shore of Maryland their home for the last 33 years. During this time, the two along with their children Karan & Nidhi, were active volunteers for the India Cultural Society – serving as board members and participants in the organizations committee’s and events.

After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition in 1996 from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Hemali went on to complete an internship, becoming a Registered Dietitian in 1997. Her 25+ years of experience includes working in a variety of settings such as geriatric, psychiatric, developmental disabilities, and rehab. Each setting provided unique opportunities to educate; within the clinical setting Hemali provided insight to patients who wanted to achieve health goals, in her management role she coached team members to reach their full potential, and as a preceptor for the UMES dietetic internship she mentored interns with career direction and professional goals. She is eager to continue further developing upon her role as an Educator in the field of ECED.

With over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience in the Hotel and Fast-Food industry, Sam has taken pride as an active participant in his community, and is thrilled to be partnering with Celebree to further do so. His understanding of hospitality drives his commitment to exceptional customer service. With that, Sam aims to ensure that every child and parent feels valued and supported throughout their journey at the center. With Celebree’s community-focused initiatives, children too will learn about the importance of empathy, compassion, and helping others!

During their free time, they love to travel, spend time with family, friends, and the outdoors!
