When we opened Celebree School of Estero, one of our biggest goals wasn’t just to create a great preschool, it was to build a true sense of community for families. We believe that when families feel connected and supported, children thrive. That belief drives everything we do, both inside our school and throughout the Estero community.
Supporting the People Who Support Our Community
We are incredibly grateful for the people who serve our community every day. As a small way to give back, we offer a 10% tuition discount to first responders, healthcare workers, and teachers. These individuals play such an important role in our lives, and it’s meaningful for us to be able to support them and their families.
Creating Connections for New and Current Families
Moving to a new area can feel overwhelming, especially for families with young children. That’s why we’ve built relationships with local HOAs to help connect new residents with trusted preschool options. We want families to feel welcomed and supported from the very beginning.
We’ve also connected with local pediatricians and pediatric dentists so we can confidently recommend providers to our families. Each month, we donate children’s books and custom-made hidden picture games to their offices to create engaging, positive experiences for kids. During visits, I also bring a small treat because strong relationships are built through consistency and care.
Partnering with Local Businesses
Building a strong community means supporting local businesses as well. We’ve partnered with several local restaurants where we host faculty meetings, school events, and teacher appreciation gatherings. In return, these businesses have supported us through social media and community engagement, helping strengthen connections across Estero. I also regularly attend events with our local chamber of commerce to meet other business owners, learn about new resources, and share those opportunities with our families. It’s a great way to stay connected and continue building meaningful relationships within the community.
Bringing Families Together
One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is creating opportunities for families to connect with one another.
We host Parent Night Out events, where we care for children while parents have time to go out, relax, and connect. It’s been wonderful to see friendships form between families who met through our school and many of these relationships continue well beyond the classroom. We’ve also created unique experiences through connections within our own school community. One of our parents is a coach for the Florida Everblades, which led to us hosting a special Celebree School night at an Everblades game. It was an unforgettable experience for our families to come together outside of school and share something fun and memorable.
Showing Up in Our Community
We believe it’s important to show up and be present in our community. We are proud to sponsor local events, including an upcoming HOA “School’s Out for Summer” pool event, where we’ll be on-site meeting families, answering questions, and sharing information about our programs.
We’re also hosting a community ice cream social, bringing families together for a simple, fun opportunity to connect with free ice cream for all the kids.
