You have a curriculum for infants?\u00a0 Really?<\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

The answer is a resounding YES!\u00a0 Your child\u2019s brain will double in size during her first year.\u00a0 When there is so much brain development going on in a child’s first year of life, it’s very important to make sure she\u2019s stimulated and motivated to learn!<\/span><\/p>\n

How do we do it?\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/h2>\n

Our infant<\/a> teachers are specially trained in the best ways to help foster development through fun, interactive activities.\u00a0 When you visit the Celebree School of Dallas Arts District, you\u2019ll see weekly class plans posted at the entrance of each classroom, including infants!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week, the children are learning Language Builder words.\u00a0 Teachers post photos of student activities at eye level (very near the floor for our littlest learners) and encourage the children to recognize themselves and their peers.\u00a0 Teachers talk about the pictures, helping infants recall the day\u2019s events and build early language and memory skills.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to developing language and memory, this activity helps build a sense of belonging and supports early self-recognition.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

No part of this seemingly simple activity is accidental.\u00a0 It is just one of the many modules in the Creative Curriculum\u2019s infant lesson program<\/a>.\u00a0 The Creative Curriculum<\/a>, which was first developed in 1978 by Diane Trister Dodge, is specially designed to educate children ages six weeks to eight years.\u00a0 The child-led, play-based program presents children with developmentally appropriate opportunities to explore and learn in the context of a community where children are safe and valued, where their physical needs are met, and where they feel psychologically secure.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
