At Celebree School of Laurel Bush, our mission is to protect, educate, and nurture the children in our communities. That\u2019s why we\u2019re proud to announce a renewed commitment to Harford County Public Library\u2019s Little Leapers<\/em> program. Our five schools located in Harford County have banded together to provide resources to the community for continued learning at home. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a long-time supporter and original sponsor of the Little Leaper kits in 2013, Celebree School is thrilled to invest $30,000 over the next three years to help refurbish these well-loved kits. Available free of charge at all 11 library branches, each kit is thoughtfully curated with hands-on materials and activity guides that encourage interaction between young children and their caregivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its launch in 2013, Little Leapers has helped thousands of families explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) in their everyday lives. Over the past year alone, nearly 1,300 kits were checked out by library families in Harford County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAt Celebree School, we believe that a lifelong love of learning begins in early childhood,\u201d said Richard Huffman, founder and CEO of Celebree School. \u201cThe Little Leapers program aligns perfectly with our mission<\/a> to nurture curiosity and spark imagination. We\u2019re proud to help refresh these innovative kits so families across Harford County can continue exploring science and math together in fun, meaningful ways.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Little Leapers collection includes 23 differently themed kits. They cover everything from \u201cI am a Veterinarian\u201d and \u201cI am a Chef\u201d to \u201cMy Senses\u201d and \u201cLet\u2019s Get Ready for Kindergarten.\u201d Each one includes an engaging assortment of books, toys, tools, and exploration activities tailored to its topic. One popular kit, I am an Astronaut<\/em>, features an astronaut suit, telescope, books, puzzles, and space-themed learning materials that take young minds on an exciting journey beyond the stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harford County Public Library CEO Mary Hastler shared her appreciation for the partnership: \u201cWe are so grateful to Celebree School for its support of this very important program for our youngest customers. Little Leapers is a fun and educational way to instill a knowledge and love of science and math at an early age. Thanks to Celebree, we are able to keep these resources current and in top condition.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
